Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 1, 2026
1. Introduction
SnapAPI (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides an AI-ready web scraping API (URL to structured text). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our website and services. By using SnapAPI, you agree to this policy.
2. What we do not do with your content
We do not store customer page content for our own purposes. URLs you submit are loaded only to extract readable content in real time. We do not use your scraped text for advertising, profiling, model training, or persistent analytics beyond short operational logs.
3. API responses
Scrape results are returned directly in the HTTP response (JSON). We do not require object storage for core delivery; any optional archival you perform on your side is your responsibility.
4. Account and operational data
To operate the service (authentication, API keys, billing tiers, quotas, and abuse prevention), we may process limited account and technical data such as email addresses, API identifiers, usage counts, request metadata (e.g. timestamps, endpoints, target URLs as needed for logs), and server logs. This processing is for service delivery, security, and compliance, not for building advertising profiles from the content of pages you scrape.
5. Cookies and sessions
Our dashboard and login flows may use cookies or similar technologies (e.g. session cookies) to maintain your session. These are used for authentication and security, not for cross-site tracking or behavioral advertising.
6. Processors and subprocessors
We rely on infrastructure providers (including hosting and databases) to run the service. Their processing is governed by their respective terms and, where applicable, data processing agreements.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to processing. Contact us at the address below to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. International transfers
If you access the service from outside the country where our infrastructure is located, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries where our providers operate.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate.
